We invite your comments about all the libraries at the University of Canterbury. The library is open to keep this a friendly and engaging environment for all of our fans.
I came across this today and found it so interesting. A researcher has made a pirate bay with around 48 million articles available to download. So illegal but all in the name of open access. Wonder if this is where research is heading.
Our lovely dragon Arero Wera (meaning firey tongue) has won a prize! Congrats to everyone at the Education Library who spent many hours putting him together. We are particularly impressed by the chili chocolate to go with the fiery dragon theme.
As the year draws to a close the marketing team would like to hear your feedback. Let us know what you thought worked or didn’t work this year as well what you would like to see in 2016. If you have any ideas of your own for next year, don’t be shy we would love to hear them.
Please send any thoughts or comments to librarymarketing@canterbury.ac.nz by tomorrow afternoon.
A reminder that this is on Sunday August 23 at Upper Riccarton library between 10am and 3pm.
The Topp Twins have had to cancel their performance in Christchurch this year. In an official statement – ‘Due …to other commitments the Topp Twins have had to change their plans and are now not able to attend Storylines in Christchurch. Lynda and Jools apologise to all those who are left disappointed and hope to be able to perform in Christchurch soon.’
We are absolutely devastated with the news, and are so sorry to those who were looking forward to this part in particular. Please could you all pass on this information to anyone that you can so that we don’t have too many disappointed people on the day.
NOW. We have a very empty stage at 11.30 and are desperately looking to fill it with an amazing performance! If you have any ideas, or know an angel who would be willing to help us out please let us know!! Please please please!!!
