Short notice I know – but since two of our lovely staff have their Birthdays tomorrow (Anton and Donna Thompson)I thought it would be nice to head across the road to Tandoori Palace on Monday 18th Jan at 12pm in belated celebration.

For anyone who would like to join us, we’ll walk over at about 11:50.  Meet you at 12pm at the restaurant.

Just wanted to thank everyone who helped me celebrate my birthday at work today.  You’re a wonderful bunch of colleagues – certainly helped the day go faster and feel special!

Hi everyone

Friday (18th December) is Rosie’s birthday so I thought it would be nice to invite her to an afternoon tea in honour of the occasion.  If you’d like to bring a little plate to contribute that would be great – I’m thinking a savory theme as Rosie prefers that to sweet (FYI she loves cheese, just not blue cheese).   The tea will kick off at 3:30pm in the central library staffroom.  It’d be great to see you there.

Hi all

Just a heads up to those of you with Libguides (subject guides) accounts.  You may get some emails from Springshare over the next while as I start setting you up with accounts for our new library course booking system (LibCal).

We are planning on going live with the new system in the first week of February so will be offering some training later this year or in January next year but if you want to have a peek, feel free to log in.

Just a heads up to the Liaison librarian team.  I am completing some work I started earlier this year on tidying up the AskLive widgets in libguides.  This means some of you may receive emails from Libguides alerting you that someone has logged in with your account.  This is me – unfortunately, changing the widgets requires logging in to your profiles.
