Sue’s Library Vision

The above is a link to the movie made of my presentation to Library staff at the last ‘state of the nation’ sessions held ages ago now.

I promised it would be made available to anyone who could not attend but who were interested in hearing what I said.

Three Weeks Post Earthquake Thanks

Thank you to everyone who have done so much to minimise disruption to students when they returned last Monday. Naturally, there are some who are having trouble obtaining what they want, but with the fantastic effort of the InterLoans Team, the retrieval services from the collections that can be safely accessed, and from the wealth of new digital resources we have, as well as all the normal services available from the libraries, there has been praise, thanks and gratitude. UCSA has expressed their thanks for the additional opening hours offering students additional study spaces.

Well done everyone. There are plans afoot to have a function to express the thanks of SMT to library staff. Gail and colleagues are on the case.
