The printer nearest the Help Desk has paper jam problem, so is turned off and has an Out of Order sign on it. I have phoned Raeco and somebody will come to fix it on next Monday. Lin.
Currently one of the webservers is down. This means some university pages will be unavailable. Anyone not using internet enabler (students, dial-in) will have no internet access.
ICTS will attempt to update the situation after 4:00pm today.
When tray 1 is empty, both of the mopiers start paper jamming. I’ve called Ricoh, the job reference number for the staff one is 948360, and the student one is 948361. Somebody will come to look at them tomorrow.
Lin, Library IT.
The Ricoh printer in Room 201 doesn’t pick up paper from tray 3. I have logged a job with Ricoh, the reference number is 946457.

Hi everyone,
At the end of the day, please turn off all the computers, monitors and HP printers. Please turn off the power from the wall if you can reach the power switches. But leave Interloan’s Ariel PC on, do not turn off all the Ricoh printers, Ricoh mopiers, Canon mopiers, and Konica mopiers.
Merry Christmas!
There will be a 5 minute Internet outage for campus users, and up to a 20 minute outage for remote users. Users will need to restart Internet Enabler.
For details about this outage please see the IT Scheduled Changes calendar. http://www.it.canterbury.ac.nz/help/systemstatus/change.shtml?rfc=2772
Students get Certificate Error messages when accessing online forms: “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.” Please tell them to click “Continue to this website” (ignore “not recommended”, it is safe to continue), then they will get the usual login screen.
The certificate is being renewed via ICTS.
