The Law Library is now closed. However, the staff of the Law Library are still in the Library this week as we packing up items from the workroom and staffroom. Staff can still be contacted on the normal telephone extensions.

A wall has been erected on the south, (car-park), side of the Law Building. The wall blocks access to the after hours returns box. For this reason we are using the yellow-lidded wheelie-bin that Central Library used to use as an after hours returns bin. The following notice will be posted to the Library News page and Library Facebook page:

After Hours Returns for the Law Library

A temporary after hours returns bin is being provided for the Law Library. It is a plastic wheelie bin labelled After Hours Library Returns. It is placed to the left of the main entrance to the Law Building on the south, (car-park), side of the Law Building when the Law Library is closed.

The Law Library will be closing at 4:45 pm today. This is regarding a planned power outage at 5 pm.

Further to my Counterculture post on Monday 14 January, this is to advise that the fence on the north side of the Law Building has now been moved to allow access to the Law Building via the north doors. I have not altered the signs, and the information on the website and Facebook to reflect this in case the fence is moved again. Please just be aware that you should be able to access the building from the north side now.

Please ensure that the emergency exits in the Law Basement are kept clear. Today I noticed a large number of Crown boxes piled up near the emergency exit to the right of the roller door. Please also ensure that items are not placed in front of the fire-hose reel. In the event of an emergency, time is of the essence. Caroline Anderson
