We have noticed that some students who have positive balances on their Canterbury Cards and who have topped up the card more than a day ago are unable to print. ICT Service Desk are aware of this problem. If a student has this problem, please ask them to ring the Service Desk on Ext. 6060 and provide their username and ask the Service Desk to fix it for them.

Hampers needed, please
The Law Library needs approximately eight hampers by tomorrow. If you can spare them, please let us know how many you can send by replying to this so that we don’t get too many!! Thank you. Caroline Anderson.
Thanks, Deborah
I would like to record my thanks to Deborah Fitchett for being a wonderful colleague. In my opinion, Deborah’s Friday Free Stuff posts epitomize what it means to be a librarian. Deborah shares information freely in order to help others. Our loss will be Lincoln’s gain. Caroline Anderson.

Te Wiki o te Reo Mâori booklets
Does anyone have any spare copies of any of the various Mâori Language Week booklets? Our display has been raided by people who are obviously keen to learn te reo, which is great, but it leaves our display looking a bit forlorn.

DPI Awareness tip of the week, 2/5/12
When accepting heavy books for return at the desk, encourage borrowers to place the item on the desk instead of reaching for it. This will protect your wrists. If you feel that you must reach for the book, use both hands to spread the weight of the item.
