Error code displayign this morning (Tuesdday) was 13.01.00 Paper Jam right side…

Duplex printer nearest Help Desk
This appears to be causing some problems in displaying a paper jam message when there is no identifiable jam.
Shane from Library IT has looked at it and referred the fault to Copycentre for a call out. In the meantime Shane advises us to power the printer off for 30 secs and turn on again, if there is no actual jam.

I’ve reported the continous sound of running water to FM in response to a student’s concern. No obvious source of the noise that I can see.

Perhaps not the most enticing title ‘Periodicals Price Survey 2008: Embracing Openness’ but this LJ survey is full of statistics, pricing and publishing trends, as well as plenty of useful commentary. I printed a copy if anyone else here in Central wants a read of the 9 pages.

There is a planned outage for off-campus access but I can’t connect to Proquest, Jstor etc from the library either “The page isn’t redirecting properly” msg appears. Will let Library IT know.

This mopier is asking for ‘replacement of maintenance kit’. I have let Janette know, but worth keeping an eye on.
