CCH New Zealand 25 eBooks

After the recent re-trial for CCH New Zealand Online Library (IntelliConnect), 25 Ebooks have been purchased in this New Zealand commercial law database from Trust Funds. They are all New Zealand content and cover a wide variety of subjects including: tax, business law, company law, employment law, property and conveyancing, customs and duties, trusts and insurance.

All the eBooks are unlimited, multiuser access. Individual eBook bibliographical records are available in the Catalogue and Multisearch.

 

Kanopy Streaming Video launch webinar

Recently we opened up 5 collections in Kanopy:

  1. Documentaries
  2. Early Film
  3. Film Studies
  4. Foreign Language Film
  5. Movies

This PDA launch webinar will involve covering off the following items:

  • Demonstration of video portal features- ways to search/browse, playlist/clip creation, share/ LMS embed, watch list, captions/transcript
  • Demonstration of admin dashboard features – details of your PDA program, analytics reporting, MARC record downloader tool
  • Discussion of promotional ideas to raise the awareness of your video portal amongst faculty, academics and students

Updates to DDA titles

Given Academic Complete is live already and its individual bibliographical records will be loaded to Horizon later this week, we have removed 21,910 DDA titles from  our patron-driven profile and current DDA titles has been reduced to 4, 396 titles (number of new titles will increase gradually) which focusing on currently published material (2015->) leaving Academic Complete to provide access to material published prior to 2015.

Specific patron-driven titles that may get deleted and then turn out to be still needed and not available on Academic Complete can be put back into our patron-driven profile quickly and easily (or purchased).

Individual bibliographical records for these E-books are available in Horizon. The 2,264 E-books are DRM free and allow unlimited access.
