We hope to receive our prize money for this award soon (anticipated to be $250). The Library H&S Committee would really like ideas from you all as to how we can best spend this! Please email me with any thoughts you may have. We will review these are our next meeting, scheduled for March.

Just letting you know that Melita’s last day with the library is Thursday 5th February; we are of course sorry to see her go and wish her farewell and bon voyage.
We are underway putting this book display together for Orientation. If you have a particular item that you would recommend for this display (perhaps something specific for a subject area) please can you email the full details to Caroline Anderson to advise.
The hard drive has failed on this machine and we now have a replacement external drive, while the not-so-old hard drive is sent off for repair under warranty. E-services have confirmed they expect day end to run as normal. There may be some software missing (eg specialized printers) so please let me know if this is a problem and we can follow up.
Please do not shut this external hard drive down under any circumstances.
Let me know if there are any issues or you have questions,
Thanks
Isabel
We have heard that Rosie expects to have surgery on Thursday this week. I’d like to arrange to have flowers sent to her from the Library on Friday, so if you would like to contribute to this there is an envelope on my desk. If the surgery is postponed, or Rosie is admitted to a ‘no flowers’ ward, I will delay sending the flowers until it has taken place or she has been discharged from hospital.
Just to let you know that this week is Kev’s last week with UC. He’s made a great contribution to our hamper service and will be missed. He’s is doing the hamper run this week so please look out for him if you wish to pass on your best wishes etc.
In talking with Rosie today, she specifically asked me to pass on her thanks for the fabulous Christmas hamper. She has gained much pleasure dipping into it, and finding so many treats to raise her spirits over the holidays.
We heard today that Faye has retired from Cleaning Services. As yet, no information as to who will step into her role. In the meantime, you might like to continue using the cleaning services shared mailbox and not specifically address messages to Faye!
