Communication Disorders students are asking for Netter’s anatomy. The correct title is Atlas of human anatomy, shelved in the Reference Collection at QM 25 .N474 1997
There is an earlier edition on the shelves which is currently out on loan. If the reference copy is consistently missing let me know as we might have to put it on Restricted Loan.
A problem with one of the authentication servers in ICTS means that there are intermittent problems with the network, including access to the internet and blackboard. This may take an hour or more to fix.
We will put a message on Camelot news when it is resolved
If students are looking for the 2006 edition of “Management : an Asia-Pacific perspective” it is now called “Management” 2nd edition Asia Pacific Edition 2006 and is edited by J.T. Campling. The bib
no is #1036090.
A brief reminder that an important part of resetting a borrower’s library PIN number – is telling them what the new PIN number is! Very easy for them to remember, just a repeat of their barcode.
This also applies to ULANZ/CTA borrowers whose barcodes may not be ‘translated’ on their cards. If in doubt look in the barcode field of their borrower record (Edit borrower).
Just a reminder that you should not be providing any stationery such as scissors, pens, erasers, sellotape etc to students. The scissors have gone missing already. A stapler is provided by the PCs and the Copy Centre has a guillotine. There are drawing pins in the drawers for poster – hand them out separately rather than giving the students the whole box.
Unfortunately it was not possible to get the Library tours sign down today. Tours have now officiously finished. If anyone asks about library tours next week, there are some yellow handouts behind the Help Desk plus the library guide. Just ask them what they need to know and show them how to use the catalogue – 3hour/3day loans etc

From James Oxnam:
Do not refer anyone to the Loft for assistance with wireless | Help with wireless is through the helpdesk. I believe, at present, there is a 2 week waiting period for help with setting up wireless at the helpdesk.
