We have just had some keys handed in to the lending desk at the Education library. They are on a Sports Institute of Otago tag. They are currently in the top drawer at the lending desk.

You will need to uninstall and then reinstall your printer-if you are unsure how to do this just see Jane or myself.

Due to the noise generated by the Diebold machine’s fans it has been turned off. It has been logged with the Copy centre.If someone wants to use it just turn it back on again.

We have two new rechargeable torches – one under the book returns terminal and the other in the Info Office.

This title has been mentioned in a lecture and got very busy. However, the lecturer says that students can also use Gibbons other book “Learning to learn in a second language” for similar ideas. We have 6 more copies of the latter title in restricted loan now.

The books on this display have 2 different tags – purple “available for borrowing” and yellow “may be requested”. If a borrower brings up a book to borrow, please take it off the display first:
Go to Horizon reports (web) on the left-hand Horizon menu
then Horizon database changes
then Book displays
then Remove specific item from special display
Scan the barcode.

You will also need to check if there are any other requests on the book because they will come up first.

Books with yellow tags will come up as “in transit” if they are taken off display.
