From now until the end of the year UC Careers will have someone at the learning skills centre on Thursday mornings for drop in sessions. Students can go there for employment advice, CV checks etc

A selection of these have been placed in 3d loan at the request of the lecturer for EDHL 261.

They are shelved together in a plastic holder under “HEA” in an attempt to keep things simple!

To find individual titles, search the catalogue by series ‘Health and physical education curriculum in action’ to pick up the 20+ titles, or use the cheat sheet at the end of the lending desk.

A technician from Ricoh is visiting around 1pm on Friday to install a new printer in the research room. The new printer won’t be available for use by students until Monday – in the meantime students will be able to print to the current printer.

A student asked if his group could film the end of our lending desk (as an imitation TV news desk). I said yes, that before 9 and after 5 would be best but we might be able to manage another time if necessary. He will come back with a preferred time for them. CS

Keys are in the key cupboard (key number 30). Replacement paper is just inside the door of the IT services room off the main workroom.

A Broken sign has been placed on one of the Photocopiers on Level 2 of the Education Library. It still works, but is making a loud whirring noise repeatedly when switched on.
