These three printers are no longer exist and should be delete from your printer list: Libr-ED106 on cantwl1, Libr-106 on cantwl1, and Libr_ED106 on cantwl1.

IT will change the printer driver for the printer in the resource room. Fingers crossed this will resolve the problems associated with printing PDFs.

Printing to the colour printer in the education library is now working. We think there might be a problem with the network connection on the wall next to the printer. On the side of the printer beside the network cable are two lights – one orange and one green – if you cannot see the green light then there is a network connection problem. Please report this to library IT.

A student has reported tonight that there are problems printing PDFs to the printer in the resource room…text is printing out as symbols. The student spoke to someone at the IT helpdesk who said they are working on the problem – they recommended that anyone having trouble printing PDFs from the resource room use the Kotuku lab in the meantime.

I have put another bin in the Edu staffroom that we can use for paper towels and foodscraps. I will empty this into the foodscrap bin outside. I admit it’s not very pretty but hopefully it will reduce our waste to landfill. C
