The lights in the south-east end of levels 2 and 3 of EPS library are not working (including toilets on level 2). The cleaners notified Security at 4am, Facilities have been phoned this morning and a BEIMS placed.

I’ve contacted AV re the cabling for our meeting room flat screens which is yet to be installed. Matthew Ayton will follow up on Monday and will advise Dave and Adam as to the outcome.

FM need to carry out some concrete cutting outside the north-eastern corner of EPS Library next week (not sure which day). This is to enable them to lay communication cables for the backflow pipes. I’ve asked that the work be done outside Library hours as much as possible as it is exam time and students will be studying. The job is likely to take 1 – 1.5 hours, so FM have assured me they will commence work at 7am and complete the job before, or shortly after, the Library is open.

-2 chairs with back problems. One of them (green, recently recovered) is in Dawn’s office. The other under the stairs.
-I am not sure if the lights in discussion room 1 were looked at yesterday but I have put in a new request as it’s still gloomy up there. (Also for the light outside the lift of level 3)

Flush mechanism on the Level 1 men’s urinal is jammed and not working. Nicola is putting in a BIEMS request.

When the basin is used in the Level 1 disabled toilet (not very often) it seems to leak a bit of water which then pools on the floor. Christine is going to place a BIEMS request for it to be addressed.

The two middle discussion (Rooms 2 & 3) rooms have been booked out all Day tomorrow (Tuesday 25th May) for the UOC Electricians to work on the power outlets below the flat screen TVs.
