New LIANZA website Poll
Some people have commented on a trend in some NZ libraries to hire people prior to the completion or even beginning of a qual so as a quick gauge of opinion, there is a new poll on the LIANZA website:
Should ALL reference librarians have a library qualification?
a) Yes – essential/fundamental
b) Yes – or be planning to do/finish one
c) No – you can learn on the job
d) No – everyone should do reference work
Have your say and vote here: http://www.lianza.org.nz/news/
Poll results will be published regularly in Library Life.
