10 scanners available in the Loft. Do not need to book in advance.
Questions to check :
Does the student have money on their account? Check Canterbury card balance.
Have they waited 30 minutes for money to load?
Have they logged on & off since money was loaded?
Where are they printing from ?
Does the printer have paper?
Have they clicked the the correct printer icon e.g. PDF, Blakcboard does not always work with ‘File’ ‘Print’?
Delete all printers and reset to the printers you want

If there is no money on the account students can select Black/White colourPass or colour printers and direct job to Copy Centre where they pay 20c per page.

Prints cost $1 per page
On Level 1 of the Library there are 2 Canterbury card phones (white), and 2 public phones (blue). There is one of each kind of phone by Security . Internal campus calls are free on phones around campus.
To use the Canterbury Card Payphone system, from any extension telephone on campus: dial 7900 and follow the prompts.
Help Desk phone should be forwarded to ext. 7199. The procedure will be:
Evening: *49 7199
Morning: #49 (no need to enter 8723)
Topomap is available from the Geography portal or the database page. Topomap is not available off campus.
Maps of Christchurch are available from the Help Desk (in box by Serials Directory).
No longer kept in the library for more than one day. Goes to Security daily.
Wallets must have a form filled out by the student finding it and staff member accepting it.
