Are you struggling to find time to get to the gym, or don’t know which online workout to choose; or maybe they all look too hard or too long? Maybe you’ve thought about coming to a class, but are a bit nervous that you’re not fit enough?
The Rec&Sport team are super excited to let you know that our new in-app on demand service is now here! You can get moving in the comfort of your home, and even your pyjamas!
What is it?
It’s over 100 classes, ranging from stretching, warm-ups, HIIT, pilates and yoga from Technogym Master trainers. The classes range from 10mins to 45mins, and you can start and stop them to suit. They’re graded from beginner to advanced, so there is something for everyone. So, you can start your wellness journey by just rolling out of bed and do some morning stretching with your app. Presto – morning self-care routine – done!
What do I need to do to get it?
As a member, you just need to get the Rec&Sport app. If you’ve already got the app, then update it and the link will appear. You can watch this 3min video that Gary made for you, to show you how to use the app, including how to find the filters.
Is it free?
Yes – for a limited time! We’re making it free for all members until Friday 16th October 2020. Remember, all students can get a membership with us for no additional cost – it’s funded by your student levy. So, if you haven’t joined yet, head over to our website and get your membership.
What about RecCentre instructors? Can I do their classes on the app?
Soon! Our team will record and upload some content, so you’ll be able to experience our classes at home as well. A great way to see what it’s like here, before stepping in the door. We’ll also be setting up some livestreams of selected classes, so keep checking in!
