Have your say on the new Te Ara O-Rakipaoa Nor’west Arc Cycleway

Christchurch City Council is making it safer to bike, walk and drive with a new cycleway linking UC to Papanui via Jellie Park. Separating bikes from cars means there’s more space for drivers and cyclists, making it safer for everyone on the road. Win win!

The Council is looking for public feedback on the 4km section of Te Ara O-Rakipaoa: the Nor’West Arc Route – along Ilam Road, Aorangi Road and Matsons Avenue.

You can pop into a drop-in session to chat to the consultation team:

  • Monday 20 September,  4.30pm – 6pm, New Generation Church, 309 Clyde Road (corner Aorangi Road)
  • Thursday 23 September, 3pm – 5.30pm, Cobham Intermediate School, 294 Ilam Road

Or simply find out more and have your say here>

The deadline for submitting your feedback is Tuesday 12 October.
