UC Chaplains – someone to talk to, someone to listen

Are you finding you need someone to talk to or just someone to listen? The UC Chaplains provide pastoral and practical support for students regardless of your background or beliefs.

They are there for you when you need someone to talk to, they offer quiet, meditative spaces, can help you on your spiritual journey or just shout you a coffee.

Since they are independent you can trust them to be impartial and keep things in confidence. They are great listeners and provide expert advice for any problems you bring to them.

The UC Chaplains can also provide support in civic life with leading services and helping with rituals, opening and closing of buildings, memorials and blessings after deaths and blessing of important spaces.

There are currently four Chaplains at UC:

  • Spanky Moore (Senior Ecumenical Chaplain)
  • Stowe Campbell (Associate Ecumenical Chaplain)
  • Father Philip Suelzer (Catholic Chaplain)
  • Ibrahim Abdelhalim (Muslim Chaplain)

UC Chaplains are there to be someone who understands who you are and where you come from.
