UC Global Exchange Application Deadline – extended to 1 October!

Did assignments get in the way of your Global Exchange application?

Great news, the deadline to apply for the UC Global Exchange Programme in Semester 2 2020 has been extended to 1 October 2019*!

Our Global Exchange programme is a unique opportunity, allowing you to study for either a semester or a year at one of our many partner universities, as part of your UC degree! And with over 60 partner universities around the globe you can choose to study in some amazing locations, including Singapore, France and Denmark, to the UK, USA and more.

The great thing about our Global Exchange programme is that you pay your tuition fees to UC and not to the partner university. We also offer a travel award to eligible students participating in the 2020 Global Exchange programme (terms and conditions apply).

*Please note that if places are limited at partner universities, priority will be given to students who applied by the original 1 September deadline. Some universities may have early deadlines, see website above for details.

Jake McConnell studied towards his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering on exchange at University of Colorado-Boulder in 2019.

“DO IT! Make it work, and everywhere overseas is a great time! I have a whole new set of friends (like family) overseas in Colorado. The exchange opened my eyes to a whole new culture and way of socialising!”

Apply now to go on student exchange

UC student James Eder had the unique opportunity to spend a semester studying at Purdue University (Indiana, USA) as part of the UC Student Exchange Programme. He encourages anyone considering an exchange to ‘dive in head first!’

“Exchange allowed me to travel while I am still young, without having to put my study on hold with a gap year. The teaching style and content offered is noticeably different from UC, so by being able to experience another university I was able to expand the boundaries of my learning.” he says.

James enjoyed being able to fully immerse himself in another culture during his five months at Purdue, taking the opportunity to form lasting friendships with his classmates and experience life at a large-scale university.

“The friends I made while on exchange were undoubtedly the best part of the experience. The orientation system at Purdue ensures we had a good support network of friends with whom we had a lot of fun. The moments we shared, simply eating dinner together or attending football matches with one another, were most certainly the highlights of my exchange.”

Purdue University is one of UC’s 60+ partner universities, including universities in amazing locations like China, Singapore, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, United States and many more! The Student Exchange programme gives you the opportunity to study for a semester or a year at one of UC’s partner universities as part of your UC degree.

The great thing about UC Student Exchange is that you only pay UC tuition fees. We are also offering economy return airfares to eligible students (terms and conditions apply).
