UCSA Coffee Party

The Coffee Party is a free, all ages, alcohol free event for all UC students to celebrate the end of lectures.  It is brought to you by the UCSA Help (Advocacy & Welfare) team and the UCSA Events team, and will be held on 19th October (Friday) on C Block Lawn (Undercroft if it’s raining), from 11am – 2pm.

There will be free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, cakes, BBQ, giveaways and cuddles with huskies and farm animal.  There will be music, giant games, and stalls such as Lifeline and UC Chaplaincy.

So come relax on the lawn with soothing music and just chill coz lectures are finally over!!

Free Finance Seminar 13 May

Finance Seminar and Workshop on Friday 13 May 2016, 9am -10:30am in Undercroft 101

Need to get your finances in order? Or looking for some great financial tips?

The UCSA Exec and the UCSA Advocacy and Welfare team, in collaboration with Christchurch Budget Service, are holding a free Finance Seminar and Workshop.

Topics to be covered are:

  • art of negotiating finances
  • long term budgeting
  • building contingencies
  • planning finances
  • cultural views of money
  • and finances and student loan investment.

There will be yummy free breakfast provided too!
