Update – work in UCSA carpark, Sunday 17 July

Work diverting water and sewer pipes in the UCSA building carpark is progressing.

On Sunday 17 July contractors will be carrying out the transition from an old water pipe, which feeds the buildings around the UCSA, to a new water pipe.

This essential work will ensure water continues to be available to those buildings when the UCSA is demolished.

The work is expected to be carried out between 7am and 6pm. During this time there will be a period where there will be no water available in the following buildings:

  • UCSA Event Centre, Foundry and Bentley’s Bar
  • Ilam Early Learning Centre
  • Health Centre.

The work has been timed to ensure there is minimal impact on the operations of these buildings.
