My IT colleagues are telling me they are surprised by the number of staff who are still keeping computer files scattered all over their computer desktop (screen).
Do you still do this? If so, do you wonder why your computer is so slow to start up? That’s why. Keeping files on the computer desktop means that all those files become part of your profile and have to be loaded up every time you start your computer. And look out if you have to log onto another computer in a hurry! (For example, in a lecture room.)
There is a much easier and quicker way to access your most-used files: USE JUMP LISTS.
They are already on your computer’s taskbar staring at you – you’re just not paying attention to them.
Click here to quickly learn how to use a Jump List! You’ll wonder why you ignored them for 5 years!
