This year our online e-learning system (Learn) experienced a substantial increase in usage compared to previous years. Unfortunately it has struggled to keep up with the load, and has experienced periods of slow performance and system outages. These issues were most noticeable on Mondays and Tuesdays, which corresponded to peak usage.
ITS has been working with an external support vendor to make changes to the Learn system, and performance has been improving and stabilising. There is still some work to be completed however, and ITS will continue to monitor Learn closely – particularly during peak usage periods.
