No? Neither do we. If you do not like Spam*, then do not use your UC email address for non-UC services.
That is a great way to avoid receiving Spam at your UC email address.
*We are talking about unsolicited and unwanted email.
Something that can lead to you receiving Spam at your UC email address is using your UC email address when signing up to non-UC services, like Dropbox, or LinkedIn, or other non-UC websites.
Unless you are doing official University of Canterbury business, you should NOT use your UC email address to log into non-UC websites. Instead you should use your own private email address. (If you don’t have a private email address, you can get a free email address from a free email provider such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
