Initiation of Bargaining: Academic and Associated Staff

Pursuant to Section 42 of the Employment Relations Act 2000, the Tertiary Education Union Te Hautu Kahurangi o Aotearoa Inc (“TEU”) has on 1 May 2018 initiated bargaining for a Collective Agreement with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury University to renew the Academic and Associated Staff Collective Employment Agreement that expires on 30 June 2018.  The intended parties to the Collective Agreement are the TEU and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury. The proposed coverage of the Collective Agreement “is as per the current agreement set out in Section B.”

Initiation of Bargaining: General Staff

Pursuant to Section 42 of the Employment Relations Act 2000, the Tertiary Education Union Te Hautu Kahurangi o Aotearoa Inc (“TEU”), the Public Service Association Te Pukenga Here Tikanga Mahi  (“PSA”) and Etu have on 1 May 2018 initiated bargaining for a Collective Agreement with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury University to renew the General Staff Collective Employment Agreement that expires on 30 June 2018. The intended parties to the Collective Agreement are the TEU, PSA, Etu and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury. The proposed coverage of the Collective Agreement “is as per the current agreement set out in Section B.”
