Rā Tōmene | Open Day is UC’s key recruitment event for future students, parents and whānau and its success depends on staff throughout UC. Our new virtual event is no exception.
UC’s Rā Tōmene | Online Open Day will take place next Thursday 9 July – read more about the event here>
While many of our staff are already involved in planning webinar presentations and leading online departmental booths, there are opportunities for staff to volunteer as virtual assistants.
From the comfort of your desk – or any location really! – you’ll support our virtual attendees by joining our online information hub and answering any questions they may have, or letting our guests know when the staff/student/team they are looking for will be next available to help them.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to ‘meet’ new students, and be an invaluable part of a brand new event for the University.
If you’d like to get involved, please check with your manager then register your interest here>>
Our virtual Open Day | Rā Tōmene will run from 9.00am to 5.45pm on Thursday 9 July. The events team will schedule volunteers based on their availability.
Thank you to all those across the University who are working hard to bring this event to life – we look forward to another great day, online!
Information on how to get involved as a volunteer for the on-campus event will be coming soon.
