Incorporate Māori Pedagogy in your teaching

Then we have the course for you!

We have a brand new staff development course called Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, which is aimed at getting you to reflect on your own practices and identify opportunities where you can embed it into your teaching. It will also look at the theory behind our current education system in comparison to  pedagogy.

Free financial planning for 35 – 55 year olds

Come along to a free lunchtime workshop and learn how to make the most of your financial situation.

This workshop is aimed at people who want to position themselves well to enter the transition phase where they need to be saving for retirement. Attendees would generally:

  • have committed to take a planned approach to creating financial independence and ensuring a preferred lifestyle
  • be highly motivated to make best use of increasing surplus income and/or investment assets for future lifestyle
  • have children who are now, or shortly, leaving home
  • be making financial independence and self-sufficiency a key focus.

When: 12pm – 1.30pm on Wednesday 13 September 2017
