Display Non-Consecutive Days in Outlook

Did you know you can view any day(s) of any week(s), side by side, in Outlook‘s Calendar view?

This is an incredibly useful feature when you’re trying to find a free time to meet with someone.

Change the Default Temperature Unit in Calendar

If you have switched to Microsoft Outlook 2013 you may have noticed the weather displaying above your Calendar.  You may also have noticed that the default temperature unit is Fahrenheit – not Celcius, which we use here in New Zealand.

This is how you can change the default temperature unit in Outlook Calendar 2013 to Celcius (or even switch it off if you wish).

Are you being the problem meeting attendee?

When I’m sending group invitations, I often have to add a line along the lines of:

When you accept/decline this invitation, please ensure that you send a response, otherwise we don’t know whether you are attending or not.

Yes, when you Accept, Decline or mark Tentative on a meeting request, if you choose “Don’t send a response” you create a real headache for the owner of the meeting. Why? Because they have no idea whether you are attending or not!
