Staff Yoga and Meditation Courses

Staff Yoga

We are currently taking registrations for our next Staff Yoga course. These courses are dedicated to UC staff only, with a maximum of 20 people to allow for more personalised teaching and alignment adjustments in a nice, private space. The courses run in an eight week block from Tuesday 15 September to Tuesday 3 November and will be led by John Squire. Please note that there are two times to choose from: 5.15pm (only 1 spot left!) or 6.30pm.


Registrations also open for our Meditation course. This course aims to teach you simple techniques to breath, move and meditate to help to lower stress levels and contribute to your overall health and wellbeing. The course runs in a six week block from Sunday 20 September to Sunday 25 October at 6:15pm (opt1) and is lead by the lovely Sabine.

Both Staff Yoga and Meditation are open to all UC staff members, no membership required. To register, either pop into the Rec Centre and sign up with one of our Receptionists. Otherwise you can give us a call on ext 8434 and we can register you over the phone. Payment is taken at the time of booking, so please have your card details handy.

Be Fit and Healthy for Spring

Spring is here….which means Summer is just around the corner.  What does that mean to you?  We may have had a wee break from our healthy selves for winter (or part of winter), or we may have soldiered on with rigid routine.  Everyone is different, which is something we celebrate over this side of the river.
