Here’s one I created – which shows I can get from the University to Riccarton Bush pretty quickly. The same for Bush Inn. Googling a distance calculator made it super easy.
Registrations are now open for the next round of Staff Yoga. These courses are dedicated to UC staff only, with a maximum of 20 people to allow for more personalised teaching and alignment adjustments in a nice, private space. The courses run in an eight week block from Tuesday 15 September to Tuesday 3 November and will be led by John Squire. Please note that there are times to choose from, either 5.15pm (opt1) or 6.30pm (opt2).
Registrations also open for our Meditation course. This course aims to teach you simple techniques to breath, move and meditate to help to lower stress levels and contribute to your overall health and wellbeing. The course runs in a six week block from Sunday 20 September to Sunday 25 October at 6:15pm (opt1) and is lead by the lovely Sabine.

Both Staff Yoga and Meditation are open to all UC staff members, no membership required. To register, either pop into the Rec Centre and sign up with one of our Receptionists. Otherwise you can give us a call on ext 8434 and we can register you over the phone. Payment is taken at the time of booking, so please have your card details handy.
