The Foundry bar reopens on campus

The UCSA is thrilled to announce that from Thursday 21 May, The Foundry bar will reopen on campus.

The Foundry will be operating under new hours, 4PM til 10PM Monday to Friday. We’ll also have new safety measures in place in response to COVID-19.

The Team will be serving from our regular menu, which includes all your favourites like Thai chicken salad, Foundry fried chicken and delicious share platters.

As well as menu favourites, The Foundry Quiz Night will also be making a return to campus on Tuesdays from 7pm. Sign up to The Foundry’s Facebook page for the latest updates.

Finally we want to thank the UC community for your ongoing support these past few months. It’s massively appreciated, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

The Foundry is located on UC’s central campus in Haere-roa, 90 Ilam Road.

The Foundry releases its new menu

The Foundry has just released its delicious new menu in time for semester one. You can view it online now through the UCSA website.

The new menu takes you from brunch to dinner, with tasty savoury and sweet options, as well as meals to cater for a range of dietary needs. Some of the standouts include fresh spring rolls and hearty bacon and egg pie.

 

 

 

 

The Foundry is a UCSA bar located inside Haere-roa, the new student building on campus. The Foundry is open 8.30am till late, Monday to Friday during term time.

 

Watch the Rugby World Cup live at The Foundry

Did you know that you can watch every Rugby World Cup game live at The Foundry? The team are extending their opening hours to bring you all the action, so stop by to soak up the atmosphere, cheer on your team, and treat yourself to something from their menu.

Outside of their usual hours, The Foundry will be open 30 minutes before the first match of the day.

The bar is located inside the new Students’ Association building, Haere-roa, and is decked out with a cool industrial vibe.
