UC Teaching Week 6 – 9 June 2017

Reinvigorate your teaching approach this winter during UC Teaching Week, 6 – 9 June.

UC Teaching Week brings you new ideas and tools to give your teaching a booster shot over the colder months.

Come along to one or all of the interactive seminars offered through the week. Each workshop includes a short presentation and a chance for discussion among your peers.

Amongst this year’s highlights are sessions on:

  • Technology-enhanced learning, see how others at UC are using the latest techniques
  • Get help with Ako Aotearoa funding for your project
  • Hear more about the graduate profile with practical tips
  • Get your hands on the latest tech with ‘blue skies’ demonstrations
  • Find out how other universities are using their new teaching and informal spaces

Growing Personal Resilience Staff Development Course

If you’re thinking about your upcoming PD&R for the year, consider whether our Growing Personal Resilience course on 6 April could be helpful for you.

The programme is aimed at developing people’s personal strengths, helping them to become more resilient and to gain more control over their personal and professional lives. It also explains how to stop turning pressure into stress – something we could probably all use a bit of help with!

If it sounds like you could benefit from this, check out the course here
