Closing the Loop – What Counts to UC Students

The Ako Marake | Evaluation and Student Insights team has created a one-page infographic of high-level results of 2021’s UCount survey to close the feedback loop with students.

The below infographic will be distributed via the UC screens, on Tūpono, and posted on selected notice boards across campus.

In April this year, a survey was sent to 15,972 enrolled students. The survey asked questions regarding student experience focusing on both the in-classroom and wider university environment. In total, 4,825 students returned valid/completed surveys, equating to a response rate of 30% (margin of error of 2% at the 99% confidence interval).

This data is available across a variety of ESI’s dashboards – you can check them out here.

ESI’s next survey, the Graduate Destinations Survey, is releasing next week. This time, we’ll be checking in with 2020 graduates to see what they’re up to now. Keep your eye out on Tū Ki Te Tahi for updates on 2020 graduates later in the year!
