Fulbright NZ will be visiting UC on May 5th from 2-3pm in the John Britten 102 Conference foyer (with afternoon tea provided). This is an opportunity to learn more about the Fulbright program, hear from key program managers in Aotearoa, and look at ways to maximise your chances at winning an award.
The awards are open to all faculty who are New Zealand citizens that wish to travel and work in the US for a 10 week to 5 month period. Naturally, travel will be negotiable depending on how safe it is to do so, but perhaps you are considering this for a few years down the line and would like to prepare now.
Beyond the opportunity to travel and study overseas the Fulbright program enables entry into their very established scholar network and other benefits that have helped many academics over the years.
More information about the scholars awards can be found at https://www.fulbright.org.nz/awards/nzscholar/ – if you’d like to attend, please reply directly to Sarita from Fulbright on firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to seeing you there.
