Are you an innovator, entrepreneur, or young person eager to know more about what your future holds?
Then we have an opportunity for you!
The UC Centre for Entrepreneurship has just launched its first ever course for credit — Enterprise in Practice — where you can undertake a project for a startup, local business, social enterprise or relevant student club.
To top it all off, we are offering 20 students the opportunity to also attend the Singularity University NZ Summit for free!
As a part of the course, you will attend the Summit from the 14th to 16th of November and then undertake a project based on what you learn.
By attending the Summit you will hear from world experts in exponential technologies from Silicon Valley and beyond, and discover the cutting edge of technological progress taking place right in our backyard.
To find out more about this opportunity and to apply, head to the course page.

Summer Courses. To do or not to do, that is the question…
If you aren’t already over study for the year and want to make the most of your summer, or if you need to catch up on a paper, you could always complete a 2014/2015 Summer Course at UC. There are a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and preparatory courses in a range of subjects available at UC over the summer.
Summer courses have a few important benefits:
- They allow you to shorten the duration of your degree.
- They spread the workload so you won’t be as stressed out during term time!
- They allow you to improve your academic skills and stay within the study mind-set.
You can either enrol for courses starting November 2014, or January 2015.
Also, if you want advice on your courses for next year, or on how to incorporate a summer course into your degree, contact your faculty’s course advisor and you can talk to them about the best option for you.
