The Treasurer is responsible for managing GCC’s financial matters. They play a key role in securing and maintaining sponsorship ties, determining the budget and approving any purchases made throughout the year.
The Secretary is responsible for the administration tasks of the executive, one of which is taking meeting minutes. They are essentially the glue to the executive and the oil to the wheels of the machine.
SHANGHAI SHOUT MANAGER
The Shanghai Shout Manager has the responsibility of organising and implementing the Shanghai Shout Internship Challenge on campus and ensuring its ongoing success. This includes curating sponsors and host companies for the internships to be located in Shanghai.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities with organisation to ensure the club’s events and values are communicated to students. In doing this the aim is to communicate the value of China related opportunities to a student. They will work closely with the Marketing Associate, Graphic Design Manager and Social Media Manager.
The Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in achieving marketing goals, such as marketing an event or engaging in a marketing campaign to lift the profile of GCC.
The Events Manager is responsible for the running of GCC Canterbury events, along with the events associate.
The Events Associate is responsible for helping the Events Manager in running events. The Events Associate is primarily in charge of running the Lingoswap sessions.
General Executive acts as a support for all positions on the executive. As well as completing any duties, there will be busier times in certain parts of the year where the General Executive role will be very important and needed to step in.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
The Social Media manager is in charge of social media posts and works closely with the Marketing Team, and Graphic Design manager.
GRAPHIC DESIGN MANAGER
The Graphic Design Manager is in charge of designing all visual graphics for marketing club events, such as posters, email headers, Facebook content. They will work closely with the Marketing Team, and the Social Media Manager.
