Get your bike serviced for free!
Dr Bike is a free cycle fix-it clinic available to both UC staff and students. This service provides basic cycle maintenance and repairs such as tuning brakes, oiling chains and puncture repairs.
You’ll find our student mechanics, Gina and Fiona, on C Block Lawn every Monday from 11am – 12.30pm. Drop by and get your bike ready for summer! These sessions run during term time only.
To keep updated on Dr Bike sessions (and more!), follow the Sustainability Office on Instagram @ucsustain.
If you’re interested in seeing how Dr Bike fits into the bigger picture about planning for cyclists at UC, you might like to look at the UC Cycle Plan 2014-2022, which is currently under review.
Keep an eye out for these two on Mondays!
The weather forecast has even us admitting defeat – the Bike Breakfast is now postponed until Monday 10th October!
Simply bike to campus on Monday 10th October and be rewarded with free breakfast: we’re serving up coffee, a smoothie bike, smiles and baked goods from Bohemian Bakery. All you have to do is ride to uni, and we’ll handle the rest!
Find the Sustainability Office by the Beatrice Tinsley bike stands (between Beatrice Tinsley and Eng Core) from 8am – 10am (or until the food runs out). Make sure to BYO cup for your drinks.
Check @ucsustain on Instagram for updates or check out the Facebook event here.
