The University of Canterbury Blues awards have now been renamed Tohu Kahurangi. This change reflects a connection to the cultural narrative of kahurangi, symbolising the precious pounamu – which also doubles as the kupu for ‘blue’.
Receiving an award at the Tohu Kahurangi | Blues Awards is the ultimate recognition for students who’ve excelled in Sports, Community Engagement, and Arts & Culture.
The awards honour outstanding achievements in Sport, Community Engagement, and Arts & Culture. Nominees must have demonstrated excellence between September 7th, 2022, and September 6th, 2023.
