Our next repair cafe is back, and this time proudly part of the Repair Festival Aotearoa!
We’re on a mission to help each other keep more stuff out of landfill. Want to get involved? Bring along your broken items to Te Rua Makerspace (Level 2, Puaka-James Hight Library) between 11am – 1pm on Wednesday 18 September, and our amazing volunteers will be able to help perform free repairs such as:
Darning, hand sewing and glueing
General clothing and textile repair
Jewellery repair
Shoe repair including glueing, stitching, sole fixing, eyelet repair and replacement
Industrial sewing for more heavy duty items, like canvas or bag repair
Leather stitching and leather hole punching
Eye glass repair
