Facilities Management advises that there will be tree removal in progress on Dovedale Campus between Monday 8 December and Monday 15 December.

These works include the removal of two (2) cedar trees that have been identified as being in poor health, and the removal of six from the area around the Dovedale Ave/Ring Road intersection to support Resource Consent requirements, improved pedestrian safety, and wayfinding into the campus.

In accordance with Facilities Management two-for-one replacement policy, decisions on new planting will be included in the 2026 works planning.

Impact on campus:

• Contractors do not anticipate any footpath closures or footpath closures are anticipated.
• For your safety, an exclusion zone will be in place during removal works.

What to Expect

• Machinery noise (chainsaw, chipper)
• Restricted access – do not enter any fenced or coned off areas.
• Follow all traffic management signage in place.
