Smoke Testing FM Yard/ Boiler

Facilities Management will be running a coloured smoke through the chimney stack of the UC Boiler located in the FM Yard tomorrow 26 June.

This is a ‘test run’ for the testing of air flows and air disruption rates that will be carried out at Ernest Rutherford, Friday 27th of June.

As part of the testing process coloured smoke will be emitted from the boiler chimney, located in the FM Yard,  for a short period of time. This smoke is completely safe, and testing is being undertaken in a safe and controlled environment, and FENZ have been informed of the testing schedule.

Thank you for your consideration as we undertake this controlled testing.
