Volunteering Opportunities with Children’s University

Te Mātāpuna Mātātahi | Children’s University is looking for volunteers to help with our Campus Experience Days on 25 June, 26 June, and 1 September which will see over 750 children come onto Campus and engage in a range of fun activities at UC. Volunteers will guide children around campus and support them with a range of fun activities run by academics.

Children’s University encourages 7 to 14 year olds to engage in exciting and innovative learning activities and experiences outside of the classroom. The aim of the programme is to support young people’s aspirations for higher education and encourage lifelong learning. This short video provides an overview of the programme – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjLsgnzbK0s&t

Volunteers play an important part in helping us deliver the programme and we have a range of roles available for students to support us.

If you can help, please register using this online form https://forms.office.com/r/FudjNRkKJ5  or email us directly on jack.swannell@canterbury.ac.nz.

Please note we may undertake a reference check to ensure suitability to work with children.
