Forestry Building Lift Outage Monday

Facilities Management will be undertaking planned maintenance on Lift #36 in the Forestry Administration Block from 7am Monday 7 October until 5pm Tuesday 8 October.

Please note: There is no alternate lift in this area. If you are unable to use the stairs you will need to be based in another building.

If you need to change floors or enter or exit the building:

  • Use the stairs immediately next to the lift – see inset picture.
  • If you are unable to use the stairs and cannot wait for the lift to be back in service, please follow the temporary works instructions on the lift to contact the technician on site.
  • In the event of an emergency follow usual evacuation procedures.

Please direct any enquiries to fmassist@canterbury.ac.nz

Thank you for your consideration as we undertake this necessary maintenance.
