Pathway closure between Science Road – University Drive

Users of the footpath between Science Road and University Drive will need to take an alternate route from Tuesday 4 June until Wednesday 26 June.

Work to widen the pathway to allow for more foot and bike traffic will be undertaken between those dates.

Contractors will be working from 7.30am and finish at 5pm daily and the footpath will be closed for the duration of the works.

Pathways on Science and Ilam roads, and University Drive will remain open and available as alternate routes during this period.

Electrical trenching on Engineering Road

Electrical trenching works is taking place in the Science Road carpark until Friday 24 May. The Science Road carpark, and Engineering Road, will remain open while the work takes place.

Carpark exits to Engineering Road are closed to vehicles. Vehicles should exit the carpark via the Science Road entry and exit points.

The exits to Engineering Road are closed to pedestrians and the Science Road walkway (adjacent to the FM building) is partially closed. Pedestrians should follow all traffic management signage and use the footpath adjacent to the works area.

Please follow all traffic management signage and take care when entering, exiting and passing through the works area.
