Key Access Update Dovedale Ring Road – One-Way Traffic Notice 19 November

Update:
The traffic management plan has changed. The previous priority give-way system has been replaced with a one-way system from Dovedale Avenue, effective immediately and in place until 5:00 PM Friday, 21 November.
We will advise if this arrangement needs to be extended.

  • Jack Mann (ED10)
  • Wheki (ED12)
  • Wairarapa (ED14–ED17)

Access Info

  • Carpark 3 (Orakipaoa) remains open.
  • One-way access from the PPB project entry via Oak Drive to Parkstone Ave.
  • A spotter will assist with traffic flow.

Safety Reminder

  • Follow all temporary signage and contractor instructions.
  • Watch for construction vehicles and equipment.
  • Do not enter the designated works area.

Fire Protection System Outages – Tupuānuku

Facilities Management contractor, Southbase, will conduct two planned water outages affecting the fire protection system in Tupuānuku (RE50). This work connects the new Tupuārangi accommodation sprinkler and hydrant system to the existing system.

Dates: 20 & 24 November
Time: 7:00am – 4:30pm

FENZ and relevant parties have been notified.

We ask you to adhere to contractor signage or requests during the works and follow usual evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.

Complete Water Outage -Haere-roa & Health Centre 22 November

Facilities Management advise that there will be a complete water outage affecting the UC Health Centre and UCSA Haere-roa, between 7am and 5pm on Saturday 22 November,

while Facilities Management contractors’ complete maintenance work to replace the backflow preventers associated with the water feed.

This means that there will be a complete water outage to the listed buildings until the works are completed.

Affected Buildings:

(SS27) Haere-roa

(SS25) Health Centre

What do you need to do?

  • Use alternative toilets.
  • Do not turn on any taps in the building. If you do, please turn off immediately to avoid flooding when the water is turned back on.
