Facilities Management Building Surveyors will be completing full visual condition assessments of the listed Te Ao Mārama buildings between Tuesday 20 May and Friday 23 May.

 Affected Buildings

• FO04 – Te Ao Mārama Block B
• FO06 – Te Ao Mārama Block C

The purpose of the UC Building surveys is to complete a full visual assessment of the condition of the interior and exterior of the building. Surveyors will ensure that any photographs taken during the assessment are of the buildings and that persons are not identifiable in the photographs.

Your support in ensuring that spaces are tidy and open for inspection will be appreciated.

Facilities Management

The bike stands located at the end of the eastern exterior of the West Building will be unavailable for use between 6pm Monday 19 May and 5pm Friday 30 May. The closure of the bike stands is necessary to enable Facilities Management contractors to complete essential concrete repairs to the exterior of the building where the bike stands are located (refer to inset map and picture).

You are requested to remove all bikes parked in this location by 6pm Monday 19 May and find alternative bike parking for the duration of this work.

Please follow all signage in place including any access signage, watch for machinery in use and do not enter any coned or fenced off work areas.

Facilities Management contractors will be completing interim improvements to the footpath and drainage outside the Southbase Hording on the southside of Homestead Lane, between the hours of 8am and 5pm on Saturday 17 May and again on Saturday 24 May.

Signage will be in place redirecting students during the works.

Please adhere to all signage and directions and do not enter the works area.
