Hassle-free MFA log-ins: we listened to you!

Kia ora students,

We’ve listened to feedback and made changes to improve how Multi-Factor-Authentication (MFA) works for you.

Great news! You no longer need MFA when using UC devices (e.g., library or lab computers).  That’s because these devices are managed and trusted by UC.

On the other hand, if you’re using your personal device (e.g, smartphone) the browser you use (e.g., Chrome, Safari) will also be remembered which means you will need to use MFA, but not as often.

Keep safe and have a great mid-semester break.

Ngā mihi,

Free Period Products Available on Campus for UC Students

Bathrooms across Ilam, Dovedale and Arts Centre campuses now provide free access to period products at any time.

Products are kindly distributed and topped up by staff volunteers across campus, who recognise and support this kaupapa – demonstrating their community spirit at UC.

Period poverty can become a barrier to learning at UC, therefore this aims to close a significant equity gap for students.

Look out for posters which point to the location of the nearest products or find them here.
