New to the game? Played your whole life? Similar to something you’ve played before? WE WANT YOU! If you’re keen for some fun and competitive movement with a side of prize, gather your team and sign up today!

Team Details:

  • Up to four players per team (two on court, two subs)
  • At least two players must start the game
  • Subs must be on court within five minutes of game time

Game Rules:

  • “Self Ref” games
  • Clock: 4.5-minute halves, 1-minute halftime (10-minute turnaround)
  • Running clock: Games continue even when points are scored
  • Serve: Underhand, diagonally cross-court, clearing the kitchen area
  • Alternating serves: Server changes sides after scoring a point
  • Feet behind baseline: During serve
  • Losing the point: Other team serves
  • Score calling: Server calls the score before serving
  • Two bounces: Each side must let the ball bounce once before returning
  • Kitchen: No-volley zone within seven feet of the net
  • Line calls: Ball touching the line is in

Schedule:

  • First games begin at 11:00 AM
  • Last games end at 2:00 PM
  • Draws and other information will be posted on the UC Sport Competitions Facebook Page

Temporary Access Closure Psychology and Sociology Corridor Level 1.

A temporary access closure is scheduled to take place for the corridor and rooms 112, 113, 115 and 116 in level 1 of the Psychology and Sociology building from Tuesday 1 October until Tuesday 8 October.

Facilities Management are completing preparation works for the planned refurbishment of rooms 115 and 116.  Initial works are expected to be completed by Friday 11 October with some waste removal from the area on Saturday 5 October and Saturday 12 October.
