How to make your party a ‘good one’

It’s not long to go until uni starts! If you’re planning a party, make sure you have a ‘good one’ and register on the Good One party register.

Why register your party with the Police?
Sometimes no matter how much planning you put in, parties can go bad. If this does happen it is much easier for you to get help from the community Police when you know who they are and they know you.

When you register a party with the police, they might give you a call, offer advice and help you to plan and throw a ‘good one’. Find out more about how it works here>

Tāroia | UC Global Exchange

It’s not too late to think about going on exchange in Semester 2 2023!

The main application round for Semester 2 2023 exchange applications took place during Semester 2 2022. However, our applications are still open for some partner universities.  For most of these universities you will need to apply to UC for selection no later than 15 February 2023 for a Semester 2 2023 exchange to allow time for the UC selection process prior to the partner university deadline. A few universities may have earlier or later deadlines – please check with the UC International Mobility Team.
Applications for exchanges in Semester 2 2023 will be actioned on a rolling basis as they come in. If there are limited places available at a particular partner university, places will be allocated to successful applicants on a “first come first served” basis. You are therefore advised to submit an application immediately for exchanges in Semester 2 2023. Please check the UC Global Exchange website to find out which partner universities are closed for applications, how to plan and apply online for your exchange.

Note: whether we are able to accept late applications or not will be subject to availability of places and the application timeframe or deadlines of UC and the partner universities you wish to apply for.

What’s great about a UC Global Exchange?

  • Pay tuition fees to UC, get an international experience
  • Travel and see new places
  • Credits applied to your UC degree (subject to approvals from appropriate departments and Faculties)
  • Enhance your CV with demonstrable international engagement.

Tāroia | UC’s Global Exchange programme gives you the unique opportunity to study at one of UC’s partner universities worldwide, as part of your UC degree.

The great thing about UC Global Exchange is that you pay your tuition fees to UC and not the partner university, and you can choose to study at some amazing locations around the world, ranging from Denmark, France, to the UK, USA, Spain, Japan, and many more.
